Contrasting Between

Oil on Canvas abstract painting created in my West Lafayette studio. This painting was an exploration of space, landscape, and color through the use of drawing and gestural abstract mark making in addition to processes such as taping. The taping of certain areas of the painting would allow for layering and a way to navigate each layer and diversity among marks and spaces created in the painting.
